Station Apartments is a block of recently renovated and lavishly decorated one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments located in Carstairs Junction - a picturesque countryside village in South Lanarkshire, halfway between the towns of Lanark and Biggar and within easy access to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. Our property is situated at a convenient location to go exploring the area-famous Tinto Hill and and the spectacular UNESCO World Heritage site of NEW Lanark and Waterfalls of Clyde. The apartments are bright and spacious, all centrally heated, self-catered, having all the necessities for a wonderful charming and relaxing break in the countryside or if you need to stay for work and commute around the Central Belt of Scotland. Well equipped kitchens with tea/coffee making facilities, ovens & microwaves, modern ensuite facilities, comfortable dining and living areas with TVs & DVDs and spacious comfortable double bedrooms. The railway station is on your doorstep and does have direct morning and evening trains to both Glasgow and Edinburgh making the property perfectly located both for leisure and business trips.

The small picturesque village of Carstairs Junction has the convenience of a train station with trains to both Glasgow and Edinburgh, local Londis shop 5 min walk away, playground area 2 min walk away and huge green areas for long walks. River Clyde is a short 10 min walk from the property - perfect for fishing, walking or enjoying a quiet picnic in the countryside. Short 10 minutes drive by car from Carstairs Junction is the town of Lanark, providing access to a broad range of local shops, supermarkets, pubs & cafès and restaurants, a leisure centre and a great selection of sports and recreational facilities including the Lanark Golf Club as well as many famous Clyde Valley garden centres, offering a huge range of shopping and physical activities. Our apartment are also at a convenient location to explore NEW Lanark and the beautiful Falls of Clyde, attracting visitors from the local area and beyond as it is internationally recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. What’s more, in the area are also the beautiful Castlebank Park, Lanark Loch and the area famous Tinto Hill, offering excellent walks, incredible nature sights and hiking opportunities for the outdoor enthusiasts!
