Sweetwater Farm is set in 10 acres of land it was a trout farm until 9 years ago and still has 6 very beautiful lakes teeming with wildlife and plants,it makes it ideal for artists,photographers, bird watchers,wildlife enthusiasts who can look out for foxes,badgers, on one of the ponds we have a pair of kingfishers and green woodpeckers nest there, we have a family of peasants in the wood at the side of the house. or you can just sit and enjoy,there are seats near the ponds where people like to paint and watch the world go by.It is approx 2.5 miles from St.Ives with easy access to all the beautiful beaches,countryside Minack Theatre is a must see, Lands End and Sennen Cove to do some whale watching and check out where Poldark is filmed,so many wonderful things to fill your days or just relax and enjoy the beauty that is West Cornwall.

I moved here from Oxfordshire in 1987, my husband and I bought this piece of land we lived in a caravan until we built our dream home,we have planted and built everything that is here,I have 2 sons Jeremy lives in St.Ives and Simon lives in Croatia,.I have a cocker spaniel named Harry and a cat named Tushi they are very friendly and love to be made a fuss of. I enjoy gardening and watching the birds and animals in the wood,we have a family of Canada geese that come here every year and hatch their babies on one of the islands in the pond.It is very quiet and peaceful and I love living here.

It is a small rural village with small farms and fields planted with daffodils in the spring,.Lots of lovely walks over the moor and footpaths. There is a school and very old church,a womens group which holds meetings once a month,organising days out and local fetes and festivals which visitors are welcomed at.There are some coarse fishing lakes around the corner from sweetwater.
