The Artists Pad is a unique retreat in the heart of the peaceful seaside town, Saltburn~by~the~Sea. Created by artists for either the tasteful traveller searching for a unique getaway by the beach, or for fellow artists looking for a little downtime or inspiration outside of their studios. TAP doesn’t only offer you a spacious and comfortable place to stay, it offers a whole world of inspiration. Once inside you will see the walls covered in artwork from some of the finest artists, both locally and internationally renowned alike, to rooms being adorned with furniture collected by the founders over the past decade. All this combined with over 100+ carefully curated photography, illustration and design books for you to read and take inspiration from during your stay, TAP offers you inspiration at every turn, like nowhere else. Set over two floors TAP compromises of a living space with seating and dining areas and a fully equipped kitchen with a unique plate wall created by TAP guests. Upstairs comprises of a bright reading area with a handpicked selection of books, one king bedroom, one double bedroom and a bathroom full to the brim with inflatable animals. TAP is a must stay! Please note that the Artists Pad Too features artwork which some people may find offensive. If there are any pieces you would like removing for your stay, please get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to 500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Just a short walk away you will find restaurants, bars, pubs and a selection of independent shops. There is a surf school on your doorstep and plenty of woodland to explore with your loved ones. You can ride the oldest operating water-balance cliff lift in the world taking you from the bottom promenade to the top promenade with striking views across the water. When the day is done you can watch the world go by from the beach house garden or relax in the sunroom looking over Huntcliff. The town of Saltburn is a beautiful coastal resort with so much character and so much to see and enjoy. You can walk the Cleveland way, take a trip to Whitby, visit the UK's Best Independent Tea House, learn to surf or just relax in the beautiful surroundings. You can make your visit as full on or as peaceful as you wish!
