Upper Portclew House is a 5 bedroom Georgian property, situated in the quiet conservation area of Portclew, just outside the village of Freshwater East, in the Pembrokeshire National Park. It is within close proximity of a working farm and only 0.5 miles from the popular Freshwater East beach and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. We offer high quality accommodation. The rooms have been recently renovated and finished to a high standard. The breakfast room overlooks the garden and is available for use at any time. Our scrumptious breakfasts, including vegetarian options, are freshly prepared using locally sourced produce where possible. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements and we will endeavour to accommodate your needs. We welcome dogs, boast large attractive gardens and a secure paddock. We provide tea and cake on your arrival, picnic lunches on request and a luggage forwarding service. We are in the process of creating a drying room that will be perfect for muddy boots and dogs in the winter months.

Freshwater East beach has recently been honoured with a Green Coast award for it's unspoilt environment and high quality water and it is also dog friendly. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path offers walkers the chance to experience 186 miles of extraordinary coastline on foot or just admire the stunning views. The Burrows Bed & Breakfast is within walking distance of the local pub, The Freshwater Inn and The Longhouse bar. The nearby village of Lamphey with a convenience store and The Dial Inn is approximately a mile away.
