Outside guests can enjoy the expansive grounds and water features of the main property as well as their own private garden. The eighteenth century doocot (dovecot) was originally built to nest doves and pigeons which were historically an important food source. Alternatively they can stroll up to stables or Golf Club where non members are always welcome.

A warm and welcoming individual who takes genuine pride and pleasure in ensuring her guests are delighted with their stay. Dedicated to her family she loves nothing better than to spend time with them ..... that is if she is not travelling or acting as first mate on her husband's boat! (it is rumoured that she has mutinied on a number of occasions trying to get full use of her Day Skipper's ticket). Cinema, theatre, a good book and a medium curry are her staple interests.

Quaint and picture perfect this area is renowned for its charming fishing villages and harbour such as Crail, Anstruther and Pittenweem. There are many places of interest locally: Medieval atmosphere meets Victorian style at Kellie Castle and garden once home to Robert the Bruce's youngest daughter with parts dating back to the 14th century. St Andrews which has global recognition as the 'home of golf' is a 20 minute drive away and has a rich diversity of resturants, bars and cafes. When day turns to night there are some excellent shows being performed at the Byre Theatre. Also Rothes Halls, Glenrothes, Adam Smith Centre, Kirkcaldy and the Alhambra Theatre, Dunfermline.
