The Garden is a large end terrace with an open plan aspect downstairs and three bedrooms with locks on doors upstairs. The large double room is en-suite as is the single room. The bathroom is right next to the double room so in effect everybody has their own toilet/shower facilities. If you are a family or group of friends who take the three rooms at the weekend you will have all the other amenities to yourselves. All cooking utensils etc are provided in the spacious kitchen/seating area. Patio doors lead from here to a large yard which has raised beds and seating. I can assure you of the cleanliness of the house and modernisation which is ongoing to prevent standards dropping. We have recently had new sash windows fitted upstairs, decked the patio area and fitted new carpet on stairs. You are 5 minutes from town centre but have no parking restrictions outside the property. Hello, I am Linda & 'The Garden' is my property. It is only a 5-minute drive from my own home so you can be assured that I am only a call away. I will meet you on arrival to give you keys & show your room & explain where everything is. I am a very friendly person who has lived in Barrow nearly all my life. I have always been involved in property renovation & love turning neglected houses into beautiful homes. In my spare time I like gardening & reading. I also enjoy dog walking & riding my horse so know some lovely walks and hidden beaches. We have a beautiful diverse coast line with many different beaches and landscapes. Glasgow Street is in a quiet area but only a 5-minute walk from the town centre. You can shop, eat or drink then walk back to the house which is also is close to the major bus routes. The lovely park & leisure centre in Barrow are only a 10-minute walk away. Morrisons supermarket is 10-minute walk & we have many takeaways which deliver food. The station is a 10-15 minutes’ walk. The nearest beaches to Glasgow Street are on Walney Island. This is 10 minutes by car. There is a bird sanctuary & nature reserve here as well as a riding school & some lovely pubs where you can get meals. Furness Abbey is 10 minutes by car (or you can hop on the bus) There are beautiful woodland walks around here. Barrow is a 45-minute drive from the lake district and even closer to the ancient towns of Dalton where there is a zoo & the market town of Ulverston which are 15- & 25-minute drive away. If you take the coastal route to Ulverston you will see spectacular views across the bay
