On Harwich High Street, The Goodlife Guesthouse offers modern accommodation in the town centre, less than 5 minutes' walk from the train station. Free parking and WiFi. Each room has a flat-screen TV, desk, wardrobe and tea and coffee facilities. Rooms are on the first floor, have an en suite shower, and some offer views of the nearby park. The town's award-winning beaches are around 200 metres from the guest house and can be seen from most of the rooms. Felixstowe is 54 km from the property while both Colchester and Ipswich are within 40 minutes’ drive.

On Harwich High Street, The Goodlife Guesthouse offers modern, value for money accommodation, in the town centre. We are next to a picturesque park and just 200 metres from the train station with direct links to London. Dovercourt offers an award winning beach which is just across the street, and the sea can be seen from most of our bedroom windows. Harwich International Ferry Port and Cruise terminal is less than 5 minutes drive. In fact you can watch the boats come in from the Goodlife. There is Freeview TV and free WiFi throughout the building. Parking is free at the Goodlife. Most of our rooms are huge, en-suite and fully equipped with all you’d expect from a 4 star Guesthouse. Privacy is paramount at the Goodlife and as we live in a separate wing of the building, you will only see us when you need us. We are dog friendly at the Goodlife. Harwich is justly proud of its rich maritime history and this tradition continues today, as it is now the UK's second busiest passenger ferry port. From Ha'Penny Pier Visitor Centre on the Quay there are guided walking tours throughout the summer. Just to the south of Harwich lies the older town of Dovercourt, which has been settled since prehistoric times. Particular features of the town are the iron lighthouses or 'Leading Lights' which sit along the picturesque Blue Flag beach.
