After visiting Matlock we instantly fell in love with the area and decided that we wanted to create a base where people could relax after a long day of exploring the Peak District and surrounding areas. The area has so much to offer, from incredible walks to independent shops and restaurants and the friendly people who live and visit the area, sharing the same love for Derbyshire. The Old Butchers Cottage has offered us respite from living in a city, allowing us to slow down and truly enjoy life. We hope that the cottage provides you with the very same feelings and that you create some lasting and meaningful memories during your stay. Please note that we can not guarantee that the hot tub water temperature will be warm in time for your arrival as the water is changed over between guests.
