Are you looking for the perfect countryside escape? Our cottage is perfect for those interested in cycling, walking and the shooting. The space offers over 700 sq feet. It can sleep up to 4 people. Perfect for couples to hideaway on a weekend retreat or individuals who enjoy the local shooting, walking, cycling, riding or many other local activities. With the local pub just minutes drive away it’s perfect for a weekend relaxing in the countryside. The cottage is completely self contained, and secluded with parking for two cars on the drive. Keys will be left in a safe pickup place. The Old Dairy is a quiet, comfortable, self-contained property which oozes of character and charm. On the ground floor it offers an open plan living room and kitchen with a dining area that can fit 4 people. The shower room / toilet is also located on ground floor. The cosy lounge area has a beautiful log burner perfect for cosy nights in. The lounge has 2 big black leather sofas, a coffee table and tv, complete with Netflix. It also has a leather sofa bed which can sleep 2 more people comfortably. The kitchen is well equipped and offers a range of teas and a Nespresso machine which takes pods, a fridge with small freezer space, an oven with cooker and a microwave. The main bedroom is located on the top floor mezzanine which has been beautifully designed to create a cosy and stylish space. Local Places we can highly recommend to eat out is No pets allowed.

The beautiful village of Ashmansworth is very close to The Jack Russell Inn which is only 1 and 1/2 miles away. The red house in High Clere is also about 2 miles away. The George and Dragon is about 4 mile’s away in Hurstbourne Tarrant and they also serve breakfast. The George in Vernham Dean is about 6 miles away. Highclere Castle also know as Downtown abbey in the popular tv series . Bombay Sapphire Distillery are nearby, as well as the quaint market towns of Stockbridge and Hungerford and the ancient beauty city of Winchester. Newbury is also great for shopping. Stone Henge is not to far away either.
