The Old Shop is in the centre of Parwich and offers character accommodation for groups. There is one king-size double with en-suite, a double with en-suite, a double, and a family room with 3 single beds on the first floor, along with a bathroom with roll-top bath. There is also a lovely sitting room with woodburner on this floor. Downstairs is a twin room and a wet room with level access, along with an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside is a courtyard with furniture, and parking can be found on the roadside. The amenities of Parwich are easily reached from The Old Shop, and the rest of the Peak District National Park is waiting to be discovered! Note: No stag/hen or similar.

Surrounded by lush green countryside, Parwich is a charming village which dates back to Saxon times. It has a picturesque old church, village green, a country pub and a village hall. The area is a delight for cyclists and walkers, with the nearby Manifold Trail, a tarmac path that follows the old Leek to Manifold light railway, providing the perfect opportunity to explore the countryside. The route has been open since the 1930s, when the railway closed, and was probably the first disused railway to be utilised in this way. Nearby are the lovely villages of Alstonefield, Ilam and Brassington, and activities such as golf, horse riding and sailing are all within a seven mile radius. Chatsworth House and Carsington Waters are also close by, making Parwich a great base for a family holiday.
