With some of the most beautiful views over the river Dart, The Ridge in Kingsmore is a tastefully decorated and furnished house, with the added extras of a games room and three bathrooms to serve the three bedrooms.

The peaceful village of Kingswear, overlooking the naval town of Dartmouth, provides a perfect location for exploring the South Hams and English Riviera. A short walk downhill (uphill coming back!) from the Ridge takes you to the heart of Kingswear with its castle, church, two pubs, coffee shops, village shop, post office, steam railway, marina, sailing club, and car & passenger ferries to Dartmouth. There is a cafe and museum shop at the railway station. In the last week of August, the famous Dartmouth Regatta is held with firework displays and plenty of other attractions for all the family to enjoy. A ten minute walk and short ferry crossing takes you to historic Dartmouth, with its narrow lanes, cobbled streets, interesting shops, and many cafes and high quality restaurants. Attractions, include Britannia Royal Naval College and river trips up the Dart to Totnes, to Dartmouth castle on the river estuary, or along the coast to the bustling harbour of Brixham. The Paignton to Dartmouth Steam Railway, which offers views of some glorious South Devon scenery, runs along beside the river Dart and can be seen clearly from The Ridge.
