The Snug is attached to our listed Georgian property. It has its own entrance and totally independent living space set over two floors. Downstairs is the kitchen with lounge, bedroom and bathroom on first floor. We can accommodate up to 4 people. Two in the main bedroom and two in the lounge on a very comfortable double foam mattress (all bedding supplied) Must emphasize that it would be cosy! But for a one night stop over economical stay it may be helpful. Due to open stair case (as seen in pictures) we are not suitable for disabled/elderly visitors and toddlers would need supervision. It is a home from home with everything you need for a comfortable stay. You are very welcome to share our garden where there are private areas to sit. We do have a dog who may or may not say hello. She is a lazy and extremely gentle greyhound and no risk to children or other dogs. Goodrich a stones throw from the Symonds Yat and the towns of Ross on Wye and Monmouth. It is the perfect spot to visit the Forest of Dean, Monmouthshire and Herefordshire. We are just off the A40 so ideal for links to Wales and the Midlands. Ideal for a stop off on the way through or a longer visit to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and facilities on offer around here. We have two village pubs that are walkable one literally a stones throw away. They both serve good food so if you don't fancy cooking they are an ideal solution to your needs. Jack and I moved to the area 7 years ago and have settled in the beautiful village of Goodrich. We work within the local community and I am now retired so have more time to enjoy my home and garden and The Snug and Green Room also available in main house. We enjoy welcoming guests into our home and want you to have a happy stay, and love it when guests return having had such a good first time visit. We try and accommodate any special requests re timings so don't hesitate to ask. Our aim is to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay and offer value for money.

Within walking distance we have Goodrich Castle and Symonds Yat for canoeing , walking or sitting enjoying coffee or lunch. There are a number of beautiful walks or cycle rides near or along the River Wye. For your convenience we have a pub across the road if you don't want to self cater.
