The Turret is a quirky and unique place to stay, featuring beautiful arched windows, a living room converted from a stable, and a beautiful double-height ceiling in the master bedroom.. The Turret on the ground floor is mostly open plan the living area has a large leather sofa and an LED Smart TV, the traditional handmade kitchen with modern appliances has dining table seating for four people. The bathroom has a full-size bath with shower over and is a modern classic style with quality fittings. A steep narrow staircase leads to two bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom is in the ‘turret’ space itself, and has a double height pitched ceiling and a standard size double bed and rustic style chandelier light. There is a small cupboard with hanging space on the landing just outside of this room. At the other end of the landing is a second bedroom which is perfect for couples with a small family, this offers a small (4ft wide) double bed and a further single fold out chair bed/mattress, storage and hanging space. The Turret is tastefully decorated in a modern yet traditional style. Please note that there is a fire escape from The Turret master bedroom leading to external steps down to the garden. We ask guests to keep children away from this. The doorway from the landing to the master bedroom is very low so please mind your head!
