Cleaned to a very high standard, using purdy and figg organic essential oil products. You will find Soft homely furnishings throughout. Comfortable high quality bedding and mattress for a good night sleep. We have come together with Valenttte a company that provides high quality organic and free from animal testing products. So you will find hand and body/ hand creams and body wash in your bathroom along with delightful smells of their essential oils around the cottage. On arrival you are greeted with a bottle of Prosecco to enjoy in your Hot Tub and some home baked treats. We ask that you contact us to let us know the time you will be arriving so we can meet you on arrival, Paul can then go through the running of the hot tub with you. We also can offer self check ins if you are arriving after 9pm Birthday's, Anniversary's, Romantic getaways We can add special extra touches to make your stay more memorable I am happy to decorate the cottage for birthdays and anniversary’s which we can discuss once booked. Champagne on ice packages with chocolates and flowers as I work closely with a local florist. Please note we are a smoke and vape free farm. We do not allow smoking on the farm you will have to smoke outside the gate entrance. Vapes must be used outside, not in the cottages. We have a no music policy in the Hot Tubs this is so it does not upset other quests staying. Also if wearing fake tan or a cream with a tanning agent in you will not be able to use the hot tub due to the tanning agent staining the hot tub.

my husband and myself run Orchard, Thistle and bees cottages on our lifestyle farm. These are 5 star top quality cottages each with a hot tub. We strive for a peaceful relaxing environment. We like to welcome quests from 4pm to 8pm if you are arriving after this time we will send you self check in details. We live on site so are at hand if any problems arise. On booking the cottage I will be in touch with you a week before your booking with a welcome letter which explains a little on the cottage and directions straight to us. Treatments I am a Remedial deep tissue sports therapist. During your stay I offer a range of therapeutic massages to help with relaxation, treatments must be booked before your stay. Thistle cottage is situated on our lifestyle farm which is on the north east coast in Staintondale next to Ravenscar, we are situated 10 miles from Whitby, 7 miles from Robin hoods bay and 10 miles from Scarborough. We are nestled into the north York moors enjoying the night skys due to no light pollution and fabulous walks around us in the forestry’s, Cleveland way and cinder tracks.
