Trelean Vean Cottage, a quaint little semi-detached cottage, is set in lawned gardens and has views across the lush Cornish countryside. It sits in a hamlet just outside the village of St Ewe with its excellent local pub and ancient church. The absolutely stunning Lost Gardens of Heligan, a Victorian lost garden now lovingly restored, is 20 minutes’ walk away and has a local farm shop for all you need, as well as a great café for lunch or breakfast. The gardens are a stunning walk and a must see for all that visit the area. Nearby St Austell is great for stocking up with local shops, supermarkets, a golf course and a cinema. There is plenty to see including the nearby village of Mevagissey which centres around a pretty working harbour with narrow lanes full of shops, cafés and restaurants, along with some great pubs. You can book some sea fishing direct from the harbour or catch a ferry across to Fowey right at the other side of St Austell Bay.
