The village of Chacewater is just five miles from Truro in Cornwall. The village lies in the centre of the former great mining district, producing more copper and tin than anywhere else in the world. You are within easy reach of both of Cornwall's coastlines, with unspoilt beaches and rugged coastal walking trails stretching for miles, ideal for walkers, bathers and surfers. Truro, Cornwall’s only city, offer a magnificent cathedral, the Royal Cornwall Museum and a theatre and concert venue, the Hall for Cornwall, as well as a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. The harbour town of Falmouth has the third largest natural harbour in the world, and from here you can take boat trips up the Carrick Roads, visit the lovely and safe beaches, the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle, which was built by Henry VIII.
