Valentine’s House is a charming holiday home in the heart of the conservation area of the pretty Georgian town of Deal. The house has a rich history and has been named after one of the first residents Valentine Myhill. The house is full of character but has been transformed into a stylish and comfortable holiday home with a mid-century feel. Set over four floors with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a downstairs toilet, the star attraction of the house is the fabulous roof terrace with fantastic views across the Conservation area. Situated in a quiet side street just 2 minutes walk from the main promenade and beach, Valentine’s House is also just a few yards from the buzzing high street with its delis, boutique shops, antiques shops, cafes and restaurants. Deal Castle and the Pier are only a 5 minutes stroll along the promenade and further coastal walking takes you through Walmer and Kingsdown. Walking in the other direction along the coast you will walk past some of the most prestigious links golf courses in England and almost deserted beaches.

Deal, in Kent, is a town on the south coast of England, situated where the North Sea and the English Channel meet. Located just 8 miles south of Ramsgate and 8 miles north east of Dover, this picturesque town is a former fishing, mining and garrison town. In 2014, Deal won the Telegraph ‘High Street of the Year’ award and also features in the Times 30 Best Places By the Sea. Today its main attraction is it its wonderful coastline, which is within easy access of the town itself. Keepers Cottages will share more local information with you when you book.
