Westdale Cottage is a stone built cottage situated at one end of the delightful village of Elton, with views across towards Robin Hood Stride. Centrally located in a beautiful part of the Peak District National Park, this is an ideal location for exploring on foot with lovely walks from the doorstep, or riding a bike through the many quiet lanes and footpaths of the area. This cottage is full of character and includes a log burning stove for those cosy nights in! We ask that dogs are kept downstairs, not allowed on the furniture and not left alone in the cottage.

We had a change of career a few years ago, and purchased a small number of holiday cottages in the Peak District, which we look after personally. We work in the Peak District, so are always nearby on-call should you need any help or support during your stay. Peak Holidays is a trading name for blue limes ltd a small family owned company, which has been trading since 1999.

Elton sits high up on the limestone plateau near to the Limestone Way, a long-distance ancient trade route which lies just to the east of the village, and the many footpaths leading to and from Elton make it a popular place for hikers. Nearby Bakewell is also extremely popular with visitors and offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as a frequent local market.
