Our 40+ homes are spread all across the New Forest, in picture postcard villages like Beaulieu, Brockenhurst and Burley…where the pace is slow and the ponies roam free… To the wilder north of the Forest, near Fordingbridge, down to the glorious coastal walks at Milford and Keyhaven, on to bustling Lymington with all its Georgian charm.

Whistlestop certainly pulls out all the stops to make your stay feel a little luxe; Known as the Rolls Royce of shepherds huts, the high-spec workmanship, log burner, and nifty design details throughout adds to the experience of utter New Forest escapism. Dog friendly.

With the bottom of the garden sitting alongside the railway tracks, you can walk to Whistlestop straight from Brockenhurst Train Station in just 15 minutes. Bikes can be rented and collected from Cyclexperience at Brockenhurst Train Station. You'll pass the top of the 'High Street' on your travels, which is just 0.7 miles from your door. Brockenhurst's buzzy little village centre has all you need to stock-up; including a butcher's, baker's (making the best doughnuts in the New Forest!), grocers, and locally-stocked convenience store. There are also plenty of pubs here, so you'll never be far from refreshments! Your lovely hosts have a wealth of information on walks and biking tracks nearby (Setley Pond is beautiful, as is Rhinefield’s Ornamental Drive), but you're just minutes from being in the great outdoors and open forest. After a day or two of exploring and taking the scenic route, we highly recommend a pamper at the nearby Senspa (1 mile away) or a homegrown feast at The Pig (1.8 miles away.) For day- tripping, Lymington's boat bobbing town & Saturday market is a must. You can catch the train in just 10 minutes.
