Fieldside View is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the village of Sleights, 3 miles from Whitby. There is parking in the drive for 2 cars and on street parking outside the property for 3 cars. The property is a detached home being a typical 1970's style, and has a converted basement garden flat below. There is a private small front garden and a rear garden with patio and seating area ideal for entertaining. The home can sleep 7 or 8 with a double bed and single bed in the large rear bedroom, a double bed in the front bedroom, and a double sofa bed in the lounge. Some of our party guests also like to sleep on the large sofa, making this property ideal for a fun friends or family gathering, celebration or event weekend. Children also love to push the double and single beds together in the large bedroom and make their own giant 'sleepover' bed!!

Having spent over 48 years as an Architectural Designer, living most of my life in the Whitby and surrounding areas, I am passionate about creating comfortable spaces to make people smile and enjoy themselves. Having designed a few award winning Whitby Landmarks over the years, (including the renowned Union Mill Apartments), and various restaurants, bars and sports facilities, I am now helping to manage a select few holiday rental properties as well as the design and manufacture of innovative new zero carbon modular holiday buildings as Design Director at the Port of Middlesbrough based MEFAB Ltd. Having recently taken over the management of this holiday home, we plan to improve and upgrade the property over the coming months so you can hopefully return for an even more enjoyable holiday experience!

Sleights is a lovely village with its award-winning Radford’s butchers, Botham’s bakery shop and Spa shop/Post Office just 5 minutes walk away. The Plough, a traditional cosy village pub serving good food, is 10 minutes walk away. Sleights railway station is 10 minutes walk where you can catch a regular service to Middlesbrough, the moorland villages or Whitby, or enjoy the spectacle of the Steam Trains running to Grosmont and Pickering. The property is in a quiet cul-de-sac with plenty of countryside field views so is a perfect retreat after a busy day, or a perfect hosting venue for that special occasion!
