Everything! The location was great, almost in the town centre, the room was, spacious, airy (had great air con.) the beds, we're super comfy, bathroom was fabulous, huge shower, lifts, to all floors. The, staff were cheerful, helpful and the breakfast was great.

The apartment was great for a single person for one night, in my case. Although I would have been more than happy to stay longer. It has everything you would need for a longer stay, in the way of equipment. The toiletries were great.

I really liked how the property was how clean and well-kept it was. Everything felt fresh and inviting, which made it very comfortable to walk through. On top of that, the design and layout were beautiful, creating a space that felt both stylish and welcoming. We visited in part due to a family funeral but with the intention to explore the town in addition. We really enjoyed the MIMA modern & contemporary art gallery and the Dorman museum, Stewart Park and several of the local shops. We should like to have had another day ideally as we are aware that we missed some of the other parks and so on. We were fortunate too because there were events going on with music, arts, children's activities, crafts, street performers, artisan markets and it made for a wonderful atmosphere in the sunshine. There was a real sense of community in evidence and so many people would chat with us, nice friendly place to visit and under-rated we thought.

No favourite places.

No favourite places. I only took strolls when it wasn't raining. Its a calm and laid back city. If you're looking for night life, its not a place for active night parties. Very easy to move around if you can afford taxis or have a private car. Please don't attempt to drive if you are not used to left side driving. Americans, Canadians and some Africans who are used to driving on the right hand side must learn new tricks to drive in Middlesbrough. My next visit, I will make advance arrangements for hotels.

The rooms are very basic but clean We Only had one night Breakfast was ok cooked to order But not a big choice if you did not won’t cooked breakfast The coffee was basic No coffee machine But good value for money With breakfast included with your room

Middlesbrough is SO much better than advertised!

Middlesbrough is SO much better than advertised! I am not surprised it has been longlisted for City of Culture -v there is so much going on! We ate at Umi - really good pan asian food - and went to an exhibition at mima and an event at the Auxiliary - packed programme, all in walking distance. Will be back!

Eating out in Middlesbrough is great and inexpensive. Love walking down Linthorpe Road and deciding on the spur of the moment where to drop in to eat. The locals who we know cannot understand why we keep going, but we really enjoy our times up there.

Visiting my family, and site seeing,there's a few beaches in a short drive . If you have children or grandchildren there's 3 big parks, out of premier hotel and Highfield Hotels . I think Highfield is better value for the money

Absolutely cosy, beautiful, clean room. Booked for one night, ended up staying four, and will be back. The owner was very friendly and happy to help. Even when I broke his door handle, it was not a problem. On road parking, quiet location close to town centre and hospital. As a solo female staying alone i felt very safe.

It’s close proximity to town centre, which is great if you’re attending a show at the town hall. The pool and amenities are great, they even have a free swim wear clothes dryer. The bed was really comfy and the room was a good size and looked like the photos. Staff are friendly and helpful.
