There is one double/queen bed on the ground floor and two single bunk beds in an upstairs loft reached by an easy ladder. Everything is sophisticated, high quality, and modern. The area: The ancient and storied island of Milos (or Melos) is home to this beautiful property. It's a volcanic Greek island in the Aegean Sea, just north of the Sea of Crete. It's the southwesternmost island in the Cyclades group. Its beaches are considered among the best (if not the best) of the Greek Islands, and its coastline is dotted with stunning coves and caves. Milos is 160km from Athens, 60km from Santorini, and 115km from Crete. On a clear day, you will see the mountains of Crete and of the Peloponnese, as well as most of the islands of the Cyclades group. An item of interest about Milos is that the Venus de Milo (now in the Louvre) and the Poseidon statue (now in the archaeological museum of Athens) were both found on the island. Milos is a popular tourist destination during the summer. The island has approximately 5,000 inhabitants. Klima is the most popular, as it was the ancient harbor of Milos and that's why many ancient statues, theatre, etc. Heading north in the area, you'll also find Tripiti, Plaka, the Syrmata villages, the catacombs, amphitheater, and site of the Venus discovery.
