On arrival, walking through the gate onto the patio, you will find two entrances into the house. Choosing the entrance door to your right, will lead you into a private area to the right which includes a double bed. Moviing off from that , you reach the lounge area, accented with the stone archways of the authentic structure and highlighted by a charming fireplace. The granite tile floors and wooden features create a beautiful contrast to the bright white walls. A few steps further inside will reveal a smaller private area to your right available to be used as sleeping quarters. Straight ahead, you will see the main stairway which will take you to the main bedrooms. Alternatively, choosing the door to your left, will take you right into a spacious kitchen, fully fitted with ample cupboards and large worktops, ideal for cooking up a nice dinner and entertaining in the patio or the large dinning table on your right. Through the kitchen, in the hall way you find the downstairs bathroom which also includes a shower. At the end of the hallway you will find the previously mentioned living room.

Originally built almost 400 years ago, making it a home of the original settlers in Malia, our stunning stone property will charm you at first glance. We take great pride in the restoration and expansion of our holiday home, as we have kept the warmth and history of the original building while also creating a more spacious and welcoming environment. Up the stairs and onto the landing, the first thing you notice is the amount of natural light flowing through the space. On your left, a small hallway will lead you to the two single bedrooms and full bathroom. Further ahead, to the right, the master bedroom welcomes you with a Queen bed, bright spaces and en-suite bathroom. The landing will also take you to the veranda or alternatively you could reach it from the master bedroom. Beautiful views and rays of sunshine will greet you on sight. Back down the stairs, on the ground floor, hidden to your left, a fully private backyard, perfect for relaxing in the day, shielded from the heat by the shade created from the climbing and overhead vine leaves.

The location is more than ideal. You will find that most places are a couple minutes away including taxis, buses, taverns, supermarkets, bars as well as the main strip road. Slightly further away, about a ten minute walk, will take you right to the beach. The closest airport, Heraklion Airport Nikos Kazantzakis, is 20 miles away
