Newly renovated stone-built stylish apartment on two levels, one of four apartments of a historical townhouse of the late 1800s. Fully restored to the highest standards. The house is located in one of the neighbourhoods of the old town, a breath away from the main city square (Liberty Square) and archaeological museum. On a narrow "village-like" street with no car traffic you get the best of both sides: be at the heart of the city and enjoy the peace and quiet of a suburban neighborhood The apartment is on two levels with the bedroom area upstairs (please observe the photos), designed in a traditional Cretan style with a total size of about 35 sqm. The apartment sleeps 3 people, with a king-size bed upstairs and a single (sofa) bed downstairs. The sofa bed has an anatomical mattress to ensure guests have high-quality sleep. The house has a common yard on two levels. Guests will have use of a dedicated space on the upper-level terrace with its own table and chairs. The space is full of character and far from being an apartment in a "standard building block". Being in the old town center there is no parking at the property but we can advise on possible options nearby.

The neighbourhood is in the historical old town part characterised by narrow streets and most of these streets do not have car traffic. The neighbourhood has a very rich history dating back to the glorious venetian period. It is a 2 min walk from the central square of the city. Although right at the heart of the city, due to the narrow streets, the neighbourhood is very quiet making one feel they are in a village. Every major city centre sightseeing such as the venetian "4 lions Square" or the archaeological museum are only a few minutes away on foot. The venetian port is a 15 min walk. The house is located a few minutes walk from all the city's main bus lines and a taxi rank. Being in the old town of the city centre with traditional narrow streets and as with the entire city centre parking is not ample. We are happy to advise on some options that are a couple of minutes walk from the house.
