***Please note that the Music House is set down a flight of uneven steps making it unfortunately unsuitable for the disabled or infirm - please consider this when booking.*** The Music House is a comfortable house with private pool which can sleep up to 6 people. It boasts panoramic views of the Aegean Sea and the island of Skiathos from its expansive terrace, as well as fantastic sunsets. The property is perfect for families or couples who want a peaceful holiday on a Greek island, set amongst olive groves on the edge of a traditional village. Palio Klima, where the house is situated, is a village mainly containing sympathetically restored holiday homes overlooking the sea. The village is car-free which makes for a totally peaceful holiday away from the sounds of cars, whilst requiring a 5-10 minute walk from the road (free public parking) to the house. The private garden below the house contains several levels of olive and fruit trees. The nearest towns are Glossa, Elios and Loutraki (the port seen from the house). Glossa and Elios are 5-10 mins by car (or a good bus service runs), whilst Loutraki can be either driven to or is a pleasant 1/2 hour walk down the hill.

Skopelos has many fantastic beaches, towns to explore and good tavernas. Glossa, the second town of the island is well worth a visit - you can climb to the top of the town through the narrow streets for a full experience of a traditional Greek town. It has a taverna in the square at the top of the town, along with a cocktail bar with great views of the sea. There is also a supermarket and bakery in the town. Loutraki, the port seen from the house, has a few tavernas and cafes, and also a supermarket and bakery. It can be reached on foot from the house (1/2 hour walk). You can swim either behind the port or on the south side of the port, next to the Roman remains. Elios is a more modern small town, with several places to eat (Manolis' taverna is fantastic!), and a nice beach. Other beaches worth visiting include Panormos, Milia, Periviliou and Agnontas, to name only a few of the many on the island. Skopelos at the south end of the island is the main town. It has many restaurants (Molos at the far end of the harbour is well worth visiting) and shops, and wandering the back streets will let you experience the traditional feel of the island.
