Stay with your family and friends in this amazing and spacious maisonette for moments of joy! It has everything you need for your pleasant and happy vacation! With big fenced yard and playground, pool and barbeque. It can host up to 6 people plus 2 babies. Our maisonette is near Agios Ioannis square, where many events occurre throughout the summer season. Few minutes from the thematic park of AQUALAND and a horse riding club and only 15' from Corfu town, the airport and the harbor!
The village of Agios Ioannis has slumbered for centuries under the olive trees. It is now a centre for quiet family holidays. It is a nice neighborhood with friendly people, without busy roads in the location of the house. There are many beautiful routes for cycling or hiking and it is really close (3 klm) to Silvaland, an horse riding club. Close to the house, the owner has a farm that you can visit but first you have to arrange it! The house is near the central square of the village, where there is a small Greek tavern and several events take place during the summer. Every 23-24 June is organized a great traditional feast and each August Agios Ioannis has been home to the Agiotfest, a Rock, Soul and Folk festival held in the magical setting of an olive grove netx to the house. The house is 10 minutes by foot to Aqualand Water Park, a large water park with pools, slides and rides for all ages; 10 minutes by car to Corfu Golf Club and 10 minutes from "Ampelonas", a local winery bar restaurant with workshops of the traditional products and it is located 2km from the house. The house is in the central of the island, and it is connected with many different areas, so it is close to many sights while local amenities include traditional tavernas and restaurants, mini-market, bakery, pharmacy, filling station, cafes and local products factory, all very close to the house. There are many beaches near by as Glyfada,Ermones, Mirtiotissa (nude beach), Agios Gordis and Kontogualos, all of them approximately 8 to 10 klm. The city center is only 15’-20’ (8 klm) and the airport is about 10’, as is the port. Agios Ioannis is especially well situated for those wishing to walk or cycle during the cooler months of the year.
