The use of free bicycles was extremely handy and the villa itself is beautiful. A couple of minutes bike ride to the clear waters of the beach.

The BBQ hosted by the owner was a great way to get to know the other guests and exchange tips and info on nearby locations to visit. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and clean. The free to use bicycles made it really easy to get around. They are in good order to. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

Everything was perfect!!! We have been in tour around the island and in the end concluded that we have got the best accommodation, at the best location, and the best beach. The beach is 10 min by bike , and riding a bike is a joy of it's own. The villa itself is clean and beautiful, with a beautiful yard. There are few places to eat around, and a few markets, if you want to cook yourself. Mihalis is very kind and helpful, he was there whenever we needed anything. The yard has places to do a barbecue, which we used <3 I wish we could stay there a bit longer. And if we go back to Rodos, we will come back here again!!!

My name is Michalis Mahramas, I am 50 years old and I practice as a freelance accountant as a freelance professional. Villa Maroula is a family run business. The name was given in honor of my mother called Marula. I am married to Nektaria who is an electrician engineer, and I have two children, Giorgos, 24, and Maroula-Christina, 20, studying economically. I like music, football and cycling. We want to offer our guests services and facilities that will make their holidays comfortable and carefree. Our permanent goal is to make Villa Maroula a constant and long-term central choice of visitors who are interested in spending their holidays in apartments, which stand out for their cleanliness and the comforts they offer.

Property information

The apartment complex Villa Maroula is located in Afantou Rhodes, a 14-minute walk from the famous Afandou Beach. It offers a variety of apartments for individual travelers, couples, groups of friends and families. The property is surrounded by a garden with grass, olives, lemon trees, cypress trees and many other trees and plants that make up an idyllic landscape. The ground floor apartments have a terrace and the 1st floor apartments have a balcony. All units have free air conditioning, bicycles, wireless Internet access, private parking, BBQ, flat-screen TV, iron, hair dryer, towels, sheets and blankets. There is a washing machine (self service) in the garden free of charge. Each unit has a kitchen with a fridge, an oven with cooking hobs and cooking utensils, a toaster, a coffee maker and an electric kettle. All rooms offer a patio overlooking the garden, the mountain and the city, and some offer views of the countryside and the sea. Rhodes Town is 19 km away from the accommodation, while Faliraki is 7 km away. The nearest airport is Rhodes International Airport, 15 km away from Villa Maroula.

Neighbourhood information

Our neighborhood is known as Agios Andreas because of the chapel of the same name that was built 60 years ago. The main advantage of our neighborhood is the safety and the idyllic atmosphere of the countryside. It is mainly for guests who love walking, cycling and swimming. Villa Maroula is only 1 km from the famous Afandou beach, which is 6 km long. Rhodes is a relatively large island and even though the individual distances to the sights and central points of interest are small (for the most part from 5 minutes to 20 minutes), however, it is necessary to use a car or a two-wheeled vehicle. Our neighborhood is not cut off by points of interest, but it is not densely populated. There are also homes of local residents who live very close to other weather hotels. Kolimbia and Faliraki, which are tourist resorts, are close by. The traditional village of Afandou with the beautiful square and picturesque streets, where you can find traditional taverns and restaurants that offer delicious seafood and local delicacies or souvlaki as well as beautiful cafes and shops Is at a distance of 1 km, while for enjoying beautiful afternoons and evening excursions you can visit Kolymbia and Faliraki
