Fantastic location inside the palace walls with a gorgeous terrace overlooking parts of the old town. Just one short flight of stairs. The hosts were so accommodating with our late arrival and allowing us to leave luggage after our checkout. The room and bathroom were spotless and appeared new, spacious enough with a comfortable king bed, a desk, bar fridge, kettle......Would definitely book Carrara again!

I only stayed one night but the room was big and comfy. The balcony is beautiful and it's in an amazing location. It was perfect for me to stay alone and nice and quiet.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable. The host was very helpful when it rained during our stay and loaned us an umbrella. Located amongst restaurants and bars but very quiet with the shutters and everything was closing up by 2300.

This place is in the best location in the heart of split. The room was extremely large including the terrace. Ir was great value for money, it was three of us in the room and we had plenty of space. Would highly recommend!

The location is perfect, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The hosts were helpful, friendly and communication was great. The entire process with booking.com has been fantastic. We used the taxi service recommended by booking.com when we travelled to split airport on the way home which was cheaper than getting a private taxi. We had the best meal at Mediterrâneo restaurant just opposite the apartment, the steak is divine! If you take the coastal walk to the left of the harbour you will find several beaches with good bars and restaurants. These were quite busy and the beaches, although mainly pebble, are lovely. We took a walk to the right of the harbour, along the main strip, past the many sea front bars and boat trip kiosks (we did the blue caves one - well worth it!) past the superyachts and round to the quainter, quieter beaches. These have limited facilities so take plenty of water. Again, they are pebble and not than comfortable for sunbathing without a towel!

The location was fantastic - close enough to everything in the old town but a few streets back so you are not swamped with tourists. There are a few busy restaurants below but I was surprised how quiet the room was - I didn't hear much on a busy Saturday night in July. The room was spacious and would have comfortably fit three people. The balcony was a nice touch, although we didn't use it much during the hot summer day. Air conditioning was fantastic. We also found the check in process with our host easy, welcoming, and accomodating. I would return to Carrara Accomodation.
