My name is Ivan, I am the manager of Villa Rubcic. I studied economics and management in Zagreb, and after some years spent in Croatia's capital city, I came back to my hometown to manage our family business, the thing I went to college for. I enjoy meeting new people, exploring various different cultures, whether it is through contact with my guests, or by traveling to foreign destinations. I like playing many different sports, like tennis, football, or riding my bike through the breathtaking scenery of Makarska Riviera.

Villa Rubčić is a true family story of sustained excellence. A house built in the central part of picturesque mile-long Makarska beach with vision to be a place where you can relax and feel like home while you enjoy your holidays. The position of our villa is one of its best characteristics, with the crystal clear Adriatic sea right in front of our villa. You have a supermarket 50 m up and down the street, where you can buy practically all main necessities one could need on a holiday. On the central beach promenade in front of the villa, there are dozens of restaurants, cafes and bars, you only have to choose which type of food or drinks is the one you prefer. The old town (in the harbor) is 150 m down our Kralja Zvonimira street. It is close to the villa, but in the same time far enough to have a good night sleep without the noise from the night clubs. Every apartment in our villa has free access to high speed wi-fi, air condition and a parking space for your car under video surveillance cameras. There are a lot of interesting things to do in the vicinity of our villa. If you are more the adventorous type, you can try some of the sea attractions on the main beach, like parasailing, tube riding, driving a jet-ski etc. Because I'm also quite the gourmet, I would also recommend various restaurants nearby. Freshly caught fish, dry aged meat, fresh pasta, you take your pick...
