My stay at this pension was an absolute delight! From the moment I arrived, the perfect hospitality shone through. The friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt right at home. I visited and stayed 3 nights in this small village in late...
I visited and stayed 3 nights in this small village in late May, so place seems to me quiet and unactive. I did not see any shop or restorant in vicinity (at least in latter hours). I rode a bicycle for two days arond Balaton lake, making a full cycle. That was really wonderful. There's a lot of crowded, fancy and expensive places around the lake, but I stayd in Baltonbereny (in a modern app) for tranquility and acceptable price. There's a lot of prettier villages around, but for a purpose I been there, Balatonbereny is just right.VlatkoCroatia - 10Scored 10

Great location for older turists who would like to avoid big crowds of drunk, loud people and screaming children and spend some time in the vicinity of Balaton in a silent and green area. We loved this place.

Small village located near great Balaton lake with wide beach facilities - for example pool for adults and shallow pool for kids, some sand for kids, free shower and toilets, playground etc. There is a train station where you have easy and cheap access to Keszthely and other hungarian places.

Nice and quiet place for vacation. Easy to get by foot to lake Balaton. Smooth bank with low water level of lake Balton - good for small children. Nice shady beaches. Many good restaurants near beaches.

It's a small town without so many tourists.
It's a small town without so many tourists. The beaches get real crowded there only on weekends. Otherwise it feels like a peaceful town far from any tourist resort. The grocery stores close around 5PM-6PM so it's good to plan your shopping trips earlier. There are 2-3 restaurants and a number of eateries offering street food. The town is well communicated with nearby towns (we used trains, ferries/boates) so it's easy to get around Lake Balaton.JerzyNorway

Nice hosts, very kind people who have created a really special environment for their guests, even though the accommodation is very simple, there is everything you need, it is very clean, carefully cleaned. The only thing is that the bed could be better, just for objectivity I have to confirm that it is comfortable, but it squeaks with every movement. We didnt mind the rooster, it created the atmosphere, the morning crowing didnt bother us at all :-)

We loved it being positioned in a quiet neighbourhood. We enjoyed a little stroll to private beach and swim at the lake. Plenty walk possibilities along the lake as well.. The room was recently refurbished, and every detail was chosen with care and taste. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and feeling, good as home cooked food.

Kids loved the pool, can be used even if the weather is not that good, it has a cover. The place is ideal for quiet and relaxing holiday, the beach and shop is cca 10-15 min. walk. Any problem can be solved with the owner on the phone. Was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much, would come back anytime. Thank you 🙂

Newly renovated full bathroom and an additional toilet. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace. Our kids (5 and 3) loved running around the backyard and playing on the little playground. Supermarket is a minute walk, beach is 5 minutes from the house.
