A cosy, true Buda-apartment in an old Art Nouveou house with view on Orlay street with its chestnut tree alley, the Armenian church and some neighbouring villas. It is on the Eastern slope of Gellert Hill, just a minute from the metro station on Gellert square and a 5-minute walk from the Central Market Hall over the bridge.

I am a teacher of English and German and a professional tourguide. My husband, Zsolt and me both love meeting new people and learning about their cultures. The flat is within easy reach of the city centre but it is located in a quiet street, and the beautiful Gellert Spa is also only a few minutes walk from the apartment. A few really quirky and cool cafés and restaurants are also just a few minutes walk away, all with real character and personality, unlike many of the overly commercial tourist magnets in downtown. You woud think that the flat Pest side is the coolest place to stay, but there is a newly discovered hot neighbourhood in town: Bartók Béla Avenue just downhill from Orlay Street. This boulevard has become a hub of cool cafes, trendy bars, fun restaurants, and private art galleries. You won’t find the hordes of tourists strolling the wide boulevard, but rather Hungarian locals into the local arts and gastronomy scene. If you arrive by car, please, let us know and we'll arrange free parking for you. We are just a 2-minute walk from Gellert square, where there is a metro line, as well as numerous buses and trams can take you to the city centre (just 1-2 stops away).
