Centrally located in Ubud, Sama's Cottages and Villas offer a quiet and peaceful retreat. The villas feature private plunge pools and the cottages share a beautiful big pool with sunbeds. Fitted with rustic wood and rattan furnishings, the modern Balinese-style villas and cottages come with free WiFi access throughout its premises. Pleasantly decorated, the spacious villas have a kitchenette, a private balcony and a fan-cooled living room with a flat-screen satellite TV. The cottages are built in an open air Balinese style and come with a private veranda. Mosquito nets and a private bathroom with free toiletries are available in all of the cottages and villas. Offering daily maid service, Sama's Cottages and Villas provide laundry and airport shuttle services at extra fees. Breakfast is served daily in the privacy of the veranda. An open air platform is also available for meditation, spa treatments or quiet reading Kopi on Bisma serves coffee and cakes on site. I am a born and bred Ubudian, so have lots of local knowledge to share with you if you require it. My staff and I strive hard to offer our guests a unique and personalised level of service with true Balinese charm and warm hospitality. I have spent many years in the hotel industry and enjoy meeting people from all over the world. We take pride in a high level of cleanliness including Covid safe practices, and a peaceful atmosphere here at Sama's Cottages and Villas. Sama's Cottages and Villas is a peaceful, relaxing retreat located only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Ubud. Our property has a variety of different accommodation types to suit every budget and taste. At our main property, where we have a lovely main pool that guests can share, you can choose from either a fan cooled or air-con cottage, or our 1 bedroom villa (Ayu Executive). We have 5 different cottage types, of varying sizes so as to suit singles, couples and families, or even small groups. If you prefer to have more privacy, then you may like to choose to stay in one of our 2 beautiful stand alone private pool villas. There is our gorgeous 1 bedroom villa (Villa on Bisma), or for up to 6 guests there is our magnificent 3 bedroom villa (Villa Arindah), which can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests (extra charges apply). Each of these villas have their own private space and private pool. Whatever accommodation type you choose, we will ensure you have a wonderful and relaxing stay in Ubud, the cultural and artistic heart of Bali.

Ubud is indeed the best town in Bali to watch a traditional Balinese dance, or to witness an important Hindu ceremony. In recent times Ubud has also become famous as a wholistic and healing centre, and as a result there are now some fantastic places to enjoy yoga, meditation, dance, healing, etc. The climate in Ubud is also a little cooler compared with the southern beach areas, and even though Ubud is now a bustling town, not a small village anymore, you still do not have to go too far to find magic views, lush forests and beautiful ricefields.
