Situated opposite the local temple at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, Villa Puri Pura is a tropical oasis where guests can enjoy total peace and relaxation. The villa is fully serviced with full time chef, butler, housekeeper & security; all included in the rate, along with breakfast. The swimming pool is the centre piece of the lush tropical garden. Here you can laze away your days on the sunloungers, daybed or in the double hammock surrounded by travelers palms and frangipani trees. The spacious living area can be opened up onto the garden or closed and air conditioned. There is high speed internet and satellite TV, along with a vast DVD collection and book library. The villa comprises three buildings; the main villa (with master bedroom, twin room & living area, plus two bungalows. The bungalows both have a bedroom, open air en suite and private verandas with their own kitchen, dining and living areas. So the villa is perfect for big families or groups of friends as everyone can find their own space. The master bedroom has a large walk in wardrobe and beautiful open air bathroom. You'll find antiques of the region and fine art works throughout the villa.
I am a designer, stylist, artist and events organizer. I am originally from Jakarta and my husband is from the UK. We have lived in Bali for many years and have seen Canggu develop and evolve dramatically over the last 10 years.
Canggu is currently the hottest destination in Bali. Villa Puri Pura is located in the heart of Banjar Canggu and is within walking distance to all the popular restaurants, bars and shops, as well as to Echo Beach and Canggu Beach. The beaches are popular surf spots for both professionals and beginners. You can take lessons if you like. There are lots of bars and restaurants overlooking the beach where you can enjoy watching the dramatic Bali sunsets. Whilst there are now many sunloungers, parasols and bean bags on the beach to relax on. There is a vibrant live music scene in the area with regular gigs at OLd Mans, Deus and La Dunia. Just up the road from the villa there is an olympic sized swimming pool with water slide. You can go horse riding through the rice fields or along the beach. The Greg Norman designed Nirwana golf course is just a short drive up the coast next to the famous Tanah Lot temple. There is something for all the family to do in Canggu away from the traffic jams and busy streets that mare the more developed areas in Bali. The villa is very private and secluded on a sleepy residential street, it is safe and easy to walk around the neighborhood.
