As nature lovers we wanted to create a space that was sustainable and creatively reused timber and wood that would otherwise have been discarded. Breathing in the fresh countryside air, enjoying the on-site hot tub, sauna or taking a cold plunge pool will have you feeling refreshed, relaxed and revived upon leaving and ready to conquer again.

If you are a craver of some more adrenaline-orientated activities, the Pallace Karting and Adventure Centre in Tynagh is right on your doorstep. Here you can test your limits on Europe’s Longest Go Kart track or experience the exhilaration of Paintball Warfare. Flowerhill Equestrian Centre is located 2km from Cosy Crann and offers experiences to suit all levels. Clay shooting is also available however booking in advance is needed. Why not take a leisurely ramble through the beautiful Portumna Forest Park while keeping an eye out for the local flora and fauna such as the bluebell hills, deer and red squirrel? Portumna Castle and Gardens, Portumna Abbey and Workhouses are also spectacular sites for you to enjoy and explore in the town. We are also lucky to have the River Shannon passing through Portumna. If a swim in the open water takes your fancy, why down pay the Blue Flag Lough Derg swimming area a visit and enjoy its refreshing waters?
