Just 34 kilometer outside Dehradun town you can make day trips to Dehradun, Mussoorie and still enjoy quaint village life with long treks and smaller mountain trails. The independent home is surrounded by reserve forest and frequented by peacocks. This is a place which would be enjoyed by nature loving, independent and adventurous people. The caretaker lives on the property.

We love holidays in rural setting and our home is perfect for long trails in countryside or curling up with a mug of tea & a book and star gazing in the night. We would love to interact with guest but also respect their need for privacy. The hosts are mostly on the property in the main home and are always happy to have you over for complimentary breakfast and evening tea.

The property is located in rural setting and located close to a stream so you have steady avian visitors like kingfisher, peacocks and jungle fowl. The home is warm, cozy and comfortable. the caretaker and family live in a seperate unit on the property and our available 24X7. A car leads directly to the steps of the studio. The evening have firelight, candles and electricity once lights are out it will be pitch dark all around. The skies flooded with stars and dawn with sounds of peacocks and junglefowl. Parties, loud music is not welcome and Guests are asked to respect quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. We may have electricity failures due to rains or storms and for those times we have limited electricity running on solar. We would recommend you have your car to take day trips to dehradun or mussoorie. For those who would like to stay back and soak it all in..you may not need a vehicle as local villages, mountain trails and treks can be easily accessed on foot.
