There are two main best things about the place: 1) Spectacular view to the mountains and 2) brilliant hosts.

- the concept: it's a hybrid between a hostel and a homestay - the location, because being not in the center (even though on the main road to reach it) it's quieter - the rooms are spacious - there are electric blankets on the beds, which during cold winter nights was a blessing - above all, the staff running this simple place is just incredible, they are so helpful, welcoming and they make you feel at home. They served 3 different types of breakfast, one for each morning I was staying, all of them homemade and tasty. They will give you lots of suggestions to visit darjeeling and its surroundings. - the locals in the vicinity of the hostel are great people, try to go there for a meal, I was there 3 times and it was really great! - the price is absolutely fine for the service provided

Simply exceptional. The hospitality, the care, the guidance throughout our stay made us feel at home, the location was superb and the view from the balcony was simply amazing.. I liked the owner's friendly behaviour first. Then it comes to resources arrangements - like everything required was already there. The chocolates and especially the tea offered were excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my stays there and would recommend others too.

A place that make you feel like home. Location is 5 mins away from Downtown but there is a shared taxi just outside the hostel for 50 cent. Thanks to the host and the chef, they help me with everything they can to make my stay most comfort. A Huge bonus is you can even see a Himalayan range from the balcony if the sky is clear

I chose this hostel thinking I might get a zostel kind of experience, but this was a mix of hostel and homestay which is really unique. The host Mrs. Rebecca is an absolute gem of a person with her sound knowledge for tea. She constantly kept reminding me to stay covered in layers given the cold weather. Her contacts who cook for people staying at the hostel (exactly opposite side) are also so sweet and prepare soul filling food. The driver, Mr. Robin, whom she had contacted for me is also a warm human being who kept me entertained with his stories while driving around. If not for him, I would have surely missed a breathtaking sunrise at Tiger Hill. My entire stay was just wonderful. If you're looking to stay in Darjeeling with someone who has extensive knowledge about everything in the town, do not hesitate to stay here.

My host Ms Rebecca is so much caring even before the travel starts from my home. This tour cannot be successful without her guidance and love. My stay was so comfortable indeed.
