Kjartan D is a premium host and has a long history of welcoming guests to their temporary Icelandic homes. Birta Rentals is a family business established in 2013 and has been growing steadily since.

Our apartment is on the ground floor, our kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need, from the living room you can enter our nice garden, we have BBQ and outdoor sofa. We have three bedrooms, the Master bedroom has King Size bed, the second bedroom has bunk bed and the third bedroom has Bunk Bed for three people, Double bed (!40x200cm) in the lower level and Single bed (90x200cm) in the upper level. We share the laundry room with our neighbour, there we have washing machine and dryer.

Our house is centrally located in Reykjavik in a nice and calm neighbourhood called Laugardalur, only 3 km away from the city centre. Bus transportation is just a few steps from our house, you are only a few minutes by bus to the city centre. The main swimming pool in Reykjavik, Laugardals swimming pool is close by. Biggest gym called World Class Laugar, it's next door to the swimming pool and if you go there you can also enter the swimming pool from the gym. The gym has also one of the nicest Spa's in Reykjavik, where you can get all kinds of treatments. Restaurants, bakeries, ice cream store are close by. There are also nice outdoor area in Laugardalur if you want to go for a walk / bike / run, you can follow the path all the way around the city if you like.
