We managed to get a room in the Katla hotel at very short notice after we were trapped in Vik by heavy snow. The reception staff were very helpful and our room was clean and comfortable. There was a limited dinner menu but what we had was very good. The included breakfast had a large selection of food.

The Hotel is about 5 minutes outside of Vik which was convenient for a supermarket stop and exploring the surrounding area. The breakfast buffet next morning had great variety. The receptionist was beyond helpful in assisting our travel plans and giving us some local knowledge.
IrelandCan't recommend enough! We're genuinely sad to leave the place. With our busy itinerary we stayed only a night in here, but it was most relaxing and refreshing time we could ask for. Hot tub, sauna and fantastic breakfast! This is the place we'll recommend to anyone visiting Vik & areas.
