The breakfast was absolutely delicious and varied; the grandma's pancakes are a must-try! We were also lucky enough to witness the Northern Lights during our visit, which was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel – you won't be disappointed!

Amazing and remote with good food. We had stayed at numerous places on our road trip of Iceland, and this was a great place to stop off for a night before continuing on the next day.

The place is so quiet, no noise, no traffic, in a farm, the kids played with the animals so much. The cottage is perfect, in size, furniture and distribution / separation of the different areas. The hot tub is a big plus, a bit slow to fill of course, but deserves the waiting time. The beds in the smaller bedroom are not huge, but there is an extra bed upstairs if needed. The kitchen has all you need, including microwave and all basic stuff (salt, oil, coffee, etc.). The closest shot is about 30 mins away, either East or West, and there are a few restaurants nearby (a couple just down the road).

Located 8.2 km from Skogafoss Waterfall, Mountain Cabin at Rauðafell provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The property is non-smoking and is set 25 km from Seljalandsfoss.

This was honestly the best accommodation we have ever stayed in! Everything about this place is simply incredible. The views are breathtaking, with glass walls all around, allowing you to enjoy the mountains, horses, and goats from every angle. The cabin is exceptionally well equipped and has absolutely everything you could possibly need, including a sauna and a jacuzzi, making the stay even more special. The self check-in process was smooth and convenient, and we were welcomed with a bottle of champagne, which was a lovely touch. A truly magical place that exceeded all our expectations. We would come back in a heartbeat!
