Seborga is a small Italian town in the province of Imperia, a charming and peaceful Ligurian village perched on the hills between Bordighera and Ospedaletti characterized by small streets, baroque churches, palaces and graceful and orderly medieval squares, all surrounded by a panorama of incredible beauty on the surrounding nature and the sea. Seborga has a very particular history: starting from the 50s, in fact, the village claimed independence from the Italian state, declaring itself an autonomous principality.
