A short distance away, Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi offer numerous boutiques for shopping while Pietrasanta, known as “Little Athens”, has several galleries and art exhibitions. The location is also excellent for visiting the art cities in Tuscany - Lucca, Pisa, Florence - all connected by highway and reachable by car in less than one hour, as well as the "Cinque Terre" easily accessible by boat, by car and by train. Otherwise you can travel on the wine and olive oil road of the hills of Lucca and Montecarlo, with a lot of vineyards and cellars where you can reserve a wine and olive oil tasting tour. Moreover, the Apuan mountains are very close, with their spectacular white marble quarries and the famous caves of Antro del Corchia. You can enjoy the seaside, the mountains, the art cities and the countryside.
