Inside the heart of the historic center and the Catania nightlife, the B&B Palazzo Perrotta was born inside an old period building (now completely renovated) 1920s style Liberty / Art Nouveau / decò. Located a few steps from the Vincenzo Bellini theater and in the street along which there is the artists' entrance, where figures in the opera world of great depth entered the world (ex Maria Callas, Pavarotti); Palazzo Giuseppe Perrotta was originally built as a noble palace, as evidenced by the floral compositions of stucco positioned centrally and laterally in the high vaulted roofs, in memory of the famous composer and artist. The project, by the architect Carmelo Aloisi, who gained success in Sicily thanks to subsequent projects such as, for example, the Odeon Cinema: the only period theater still in operation in the Elephant City. Our logo, of pure historical reference, is inspired by the double-headed eagle, heraldic symbol used by the emperor Charles V of Habsburg to symbolize the union of the two crowns of Sicily and Naples.
