Wonderful stone cottage in the characteristic Borgo di Mummialla, a few kilometers from S. Gimignano. The Borgo, also mentioned in the fifteenth-century maps of Leonardo da Vinci with the name "Mummilla", preserves the traces of an ancient Roman thermal settlement with a sulphurous spring still active and today in the reactivation project. The house is immersed in the woods and surrounded by a large private garden where you can relax, surrounded by unspoiled nature. It has been recently renovated using recycled materials from the Borgo excavations; the exterior is totally in stone, with exposed brick and inside there are typical Tuscan oak and chestnut beams. The house furnished in typical Tuscan style consists of a comfortable double bedroom with large walk-in closet, a living room with double sofa bed, a large open space kitchen with fireplace and a bathroom with shower. Outside the house there is a barbecue and you can take advantage of the garden furniture for breakfast, lunch or dinner in absolute tranquility. For guests of the Borgo there is exclusive access to the wonderful biodesign swimming pool, with whirlpool area and splendid views of the Etruscan city of Volterra.

Il Corbezzolo, being just a few kilometres from S. Gimignano, is an ideal base for your enjoyable excursions in the heart of Tuscany (Volterra, Siena, Firenze, Monteriggioni, Certaldo, Chianti). Spending a holiday in this place means immersing yourself in a dimension of peace and relaxation surrounded only by vegetation and the sounds of nature. You can also visit the nearby farm Poggio di Camporbiano where you can find the organinc products obtained only from the crops and the animals of the farm, with the method of biodynamic agricolture.
