IN THE HEART OF BARI VECCHIA "Lascia Fare a Dio": an independent medieval "tower house", typical of Barivecchia. Recently and finely restored, a few meters from the Swabian Castle and the famous "Orecchiette street" (where a recent Dolce and Gabbana and Versace advertising campaign was set). The structure, with its optimal position, allows you to experience both the old city and the shopping center of the city. The building is structured on four levels: on the ground floor the living area with kitchen and dining table, on the first and second floor bedroom (with double bed) and toilets and fourth floor with small terrace where you can spend relaxing moments. The structure is ideal for being independent and for enjoying the beauties of the city.

San Nicola is the historic district of the city of Bari, known as Bari Vecchia, it is inserted within the ancient walls and has been so named since the 19th century, as opposed to the new city. Bari Vecchia is enclosed between the two ports of Bari (the Old Port and the New Port), bounded by Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Over the last decade Bari Vecchia has enjoyed an important urban redevelopment process. There are notable monuments to visit, including the Basilica of San Nicola (12th century), a masterpiece of Apulian Romanesque architecture, the Crypt and the Cathedral of San Sabino , in whose archives is preserved a famous Exultet (illuminated codex) of 1025. The historic center is teeming with smaller churches: San Gregorio (11th-12th century), the Church of the Trinity, San Giorgio dei Martiri (or degli Armeni), Santa Chiara, San Giuseppe, Santa Teresa dei Maschi, with adjoining convent. Also in the center stands the famous Norman-Swabian Castle, built by Frederick II on the site of previous Norman and Byzantine fortifications.
