Welcome to the beating heart of Milan! Our flat, located on the 2nd floor of a charming Art Nouveau building with lift, directly overlooks the tram stop 10 and is only a 3-minute walk from Piazza XXV Aprile and Corso Como, the epicentre of Milan's nightlife. The space consists of a cosy entrance hall leading to a large, fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing your own meals. The flat also has two delightful little balconies, ideal for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening aperitif. The bedroom, furnished with a comfortable double bed, guarantees a peaceful night's sleep, while the modern bathroom with shower offers a touch of elegance and comfort. To make your stay even more enjoyable, the flat is equipped with free WiFi and air conditioning. Please note that being in one of Milan's most famous nightlife districts, there may be some noise from outside. However, this is part of the charm of the place, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the authentic Milanese experience. Brief History: The flat is located inside a magnificent early 20th-century Art Nouveau building, designed by the illustrious architects Mentasti and Lissoni. These architects were also called upon to build several pavilions for the 1906 International Exhibition in Milan. The building was originally the headquarters of the Società Cooperativa Ferroviaria Suburbana, and stands next to Milan's first railway station. The apartment is located near the Garibaldi station which connects Milan to everything. The neighborhood is characterized by its liveliness, heterogeneity, and proximity to the districts of Moscova, Porta Nuova, Isola, Chinatown and Repubblica. A ten-minute walk takes you to the suggestive Cimitero Monumentale, considered a real "open-air museum" due to the cultural and artistic value of the numerous tombs, sculptures, artworks, and funerary aediculas. The neighborhood is in a nightlife area, so total tranquility is not guaranteed.
