Elegant and private house located in an historic building of Ortygia, a few steps away from the splendid Archimedes’ Square, Piazza Duomo square and the ancient food market. The modern and high-end design makes this accommodation unique. The house is large and bright, and it offers a splendid view overlooking the characteristic roofs of Ortygia. It also provides a small and private terrace. This accommodation represents the ideal solution for a comfortable stay right in the city center. Equipped with every comfort, the house can accommodate up to 4 people. The accommodation, of 91 square meters (990 sq ft), is divided into 2 levels connected by a modern iron staircase. The house has been recently renovated with a modern architecture featured with characteristic elements of the area. The house is for the exclusive use of its guests. The accommodation is functional in all its parts, it is located on the second floor (accessible by stairs only) of a historic building in Ortygia. Particularly bright with natural light, the house can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. On the lower level, there’s a large living area furnished with a sofa bed and a TV, two balconies overlooking the roofs of Ortygia, an elegant round table with 4 chairs, a large equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, espresso machine, toaster etc. and a private bathroom with shower and washing machine. From the balconies, which one is furnished with a table and chairs, you can enjoy the splendid panorama overlooking the characteristic roofs sipping a good local of wine in a very relaxing atmosphere. On the upper level there is a large bedroom, with a double bed, a sliding roof window, a walk-in closet and a second and an exclusive open concept bathroom, which includes a large glass shower. From the bedroom there's an access to a small furnished terrace which allows to have an open and private corner.

The house is located in Via Dione, one on the main alley of the island. This walking street is full of local shops, restaurants, bars, etc... Ideal location to reach most of the interesting places of Ortigia. Few steps from Piazza Duomo, 250 meters away from Ortigia's popular street market and just 200 meters away from the touristic port, with a magic atmosphere, hosting yacht and sailing boat from all over the world, where is great to enjoy the sunset or walks by the water between bars, restaurants and ice-cream parlors. Ortigia, Unesco heritage, was easily transformed into a natural fortress with harbors and was big enough that it could hold a significant population in ancient times. Therefore, the history of Ortigia is synonymous with the early history of Syracuse. Walking around the Ortigia, allows to face many buildings characterized by mixed architectural styles, the Sicilian Baroque and the Hebrew Israelite styles, with elements that go back to the Medieval and Renaissance periods. These architectural styles are also demonstrated throughout the narrow alleyways and winding streets that make up the neighborhood. In the near vicinity you can savor some of the tastiest foods the island has to offer.
