Really great Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp with wonderful hosts that care for you and share their culture with you. The staff is always there to help and assist you. The experience was great. Even better with the full day tour through Wadi Rum. marvellous and highly recommended. There are some constructions in work that will improve the camp even further to make it more comfortable.

I was a bit unsure about this stay as the comments were very positive, but after staying there for two nights I understood why the place got so many good reviews. First of all it is compeletly in the isolated area in Wadi Rum which makes the stay even more fabolous. Ibrahim and his friends show their hospitality by the time you entered into Wadi Rum village, the tents and bathroom are very clean for a campy stay. We took a jeep safari, and our guide Yazan was one of the best guides I ever met in my previous tours around the globe. Bedouin lunch during our daily tour, dinner at our camp, wathcing the stars at night, everything was amazing. I definetly recommend Wadi Rum Fire Camp to everyone who is planing to visit Jordan and Wadi Rum.

It was remote, far out in the desert. The stars were so bright and nearly no light to disturb. The tents were minimal decorated with only beds in them. The host was incredible to entertain and the atmosphare was very good. Thanks to Ibrahim and all the others making it a remarkably experience.

It was in the inner part of the desert, there was no service so you could enjoy every moment without technology. The people were very nice and the food was delicious. We also booked a half day jeep tour, where the driver cooked great lunch in the middle of desert.

    Hello, it is possible but we cannot carry the alcohol due to religion matter, but customer can be freely bring to the camp and drink it.

Welcome dear visitors! My name is Ibraheem Mutlak, I am the owner in the Wadi Rum desert in Jordan. Welcome to my page. I grew up in Wadi Rum and I would be honored to share my experience and knowledge of the area together with you. The camp you will be staying in is family-owned and -operated since our camp opened in 2003, we have been treated every customer extremely well as though he or she were part of our family. we do provide tour service for our guest with the best prices. Property information

Our camp is located in the Wadi Rum Protected Area, close to the spectacular Jebel Al-Qattar, in an area known as the “Sunset Area” (Um Sabatah). From our camp you will enjoy great views of red and white sand dunes during the sunset. Leave your worries, the traffic and other tourists behind! Located 12 km from Rum Village and 17 km from the Visitors Center, we are right on the edge of the Protected Area’s Wilderness Zone. The camp has been located in Wadi Rum since 2003. Protected Area of Wadi Rum has 74,200 hectares in total, and about the size of New York City. Here you will find a peaceful place, delicious Bedouin food, picturesque wild desert, a real fairy-tale place at night, gorgeous sunsets, perfect and genuine desert experience to be discovered! It's a destination favor by Hollywood films due to the red sands and the unworldly sandstone mountains create an uncanny Mars-like landscape! It is known as 'Mars on Earth'. Our camp also provide breakfast and dinner for all guest :) You can also walk a big rock from the back of our tent to see sunrise/sunset (free), it just takes 2 minutes to get there.

Neighbourhood information

Weather and clothing The weather at Wadi Rum, while predictable, varies widely based on the season. Summers are quite hot, with average daytime temperatures between 38* and 45* (100* - 113* F). However, at night the temperature drops significantly (15* - 20*; 60* - 68* F). Light, loose, comfortable clothing is best, with perhaps a light jacket for the night time. During the winter, daytime temperatures are usually between 15* to 20*, with temperatures at night hovering near freezing. If you are traveling to Wadi Rum in the winter, be sure to bring a warm jacket for the nights. Please remember that we are in a conservative Islamic country. While we have no problem with what you choose to wear while you are in Wadi Rum, you should be mindful of local sensitivities during the rest of your trip to Jordan.
