Wadi Rum Maracanã camp, City Tower Hotel and Al Manara, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Aqaba have received great reviews from travellers in Aqaba regarding the views from their hotel rooms.
It's a nice city for up to three days. You can do a lot of walking and see the city on your foot. There aren't many attractions, though. You just breathe in the city life and test various restaurants and shop at multiple street markets and stores.
The hotel is well located in a busy local shopping area and very close to the local beach. we only stayed one night which happened to be Friday - local weekend. Room was noisy at night due to late night coffee shops. Did not bother me but may be an issue for others. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay again at the same hotel.
The city itself is very interesting. The people are extremely fiendly, safe to walk around! Two main districts - a modern one and a traditional one, close to each other. Don't go to the fancy and expensive turistic restaurants, wasted money. The local Jordanian food and fish reastaurants are far more better! Shopping is easy but You need to bargain the get the best price! Traffic is typical southern type, everybody pushes on the horn all the time but the divers are careful to the pedestrians!
Aqaba is a delightful, small town on the shores of the Red Sea, offering aquatic sports and tours to inland historic sights. The Aqaba Gulf Hotel has seen better days but is a wonderfully sleepy and authentic place to stay. There is an excellent restaurant across the road, the Suzana, offering outstanding Middle Eastern cuisine and excellent service.
There is not much to do in Aqaba city, But the surrounding is magnificent. You can relax at the hotel which has all the possible facilities: A hearted breakfast and some fine restaurants to begin with. An infinity pool, a jacuzzi and a wonderful private beach, with soft sand, crystal clear waters and relaxing sunbeds and beach umbrellas. Around the city you can take advantage of wadi Rum and Petra - amazing wonders of nature and ancient civilizations. And there is the red sea with amazing settings in the gulf, that has magnificent sunrises and sunsets. With endkess possibilities for snorkeling and scuba diving exploring the colorful reefs with an abundance in sea life: Corals, fish and other marine creatures.
Aqaba is a nice little city and a wonderful change from the desert. There are some nice restaurants and bars in town and a number of little shops. There is also an old fort you can visit. There are also some very nice beaches such as south beach and Berenice beach. Snorkeling and diving are also very good here, the water is great and there are many fish. Taxis are plentiful, but if you aren't leaving town the sidewalks work great as well.
The hotel was a very clean along with the room. The room also very spacious and modern. It was even nicer and in better condition than the 5 star room we had at the Dead Sea Crowne Plaza. The location is right in the buzz of Aqaba, and if you are a tourist you may not like the beach out front as it is more for locals. We just jumped in the car we hired and drove 20 minutes to the beach clubs outside of the city, which are a very easy drive. There you can where whatever swimwear you want, drink and the beaches are larger sand covered ones.
Hotel offers a fair ratio price/quality. The rating is different in Jordan, I would say that it s a fair 3 stars hotel in Europe. The location is OK, 15 min from Aqaba airport by car and 10 min from the city center by foot. Complementary water in the room is a nice touch. Clean everywhere, I appreciated this. We stayed 3 nigts and in 2 of them, we met at the reception a very nice guy who recommended us a good restaurant in the center (Suzana) and anice marina to visit (Ayla Oasis). I am sorry that I didn't catch
To say this camp exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. We were consistently blown away by Mahmood and his family's hospitality! The food was incredible, they were all great to be around, it was an amazing atmosphere. After traveling around quite a bit of Wadi Rum during our stay - this is clearly one of, if not the best camps. Small, secluded and peaceful with breathtaking views in every direction! I would strongly recommend to anyone going to Jordan for the first time!
1- very nice swimming pools even it's crowded with kids in weekends it's better than others 2- stuff was helpful and nice from housekeeping to Mrs marah on reciption to stuff in restaurant 3- the sutff was from different countries and nationalities not only jordanians you can see stuff from Asia , Africa , even south america and that's make hotel successful. 4- swimming pools activities 5- yoga at 4 pm
We got a free upgrade to a suite! The location was great very near to the Jett Bus station and shops, there was also a free shuttle to South Beach Tala Bay (-however to use this hotel facilities costs an additional 10 JOD). Facilities at the hotel were wonderful -we received a nice welcome treat in our room. Beds very comfortable, room clean and spacious with a great view and staff very pleasant and helpful.
One of the best hotel from Aqaba. Can have easy 5 stars. Big rooms. Very comfortable beds. Wonderful rooftop whit an amazing pool and bar. Very friendly owner and staff Please read the previous negative reviews from others people. They give a negative feedback Because doesn't have a nice view or bad signal from Wi-Fi ! Crazy stupid people..
We made a same day booking and had a wonderful experience. The staff generously upgraded us to a corner suite with a spectacular view free of cost. Everyone we met who worked at the hotel was very warm, friendly and helpful. Without a doubt we would stay again here if we are back in Aqaba.
The hotel had smaller than expected bedrooms. There was very limited sea view due to a new building being erected next door. Altogether positive experience but just slightly below expectation. In our opinion more 7 than 9 as asadvertised on booking.com.
Aqaba
I didn't feel that I was respected at all. They don't have hospitality. I don't even recommend people to go to that hotel. I didn't feel they worth a 5 star, they don't respect customer rights.
Rooms are clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. The staff are friendly, speak fluent English and are extremely helpful and hospitable. This was our best hotel experience in Jordan.
The hotel offers great value for money! The room was big and cosy, evertyhing is new and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
