A private house with easy access to the airport and station, and a convenience store within walking distance, yet surrounded by rice fields and trees.
We have renovated this cherished 50-year-old house while preserving its original charm.
The main area combines four Japanese-style rooms into one, providing a relaxing space. A Western-style room is also available.
Enjoy snowy landscapes in winter, seasonal flowers, birds, and rice fields in other seasons. The starry sky is stunning year-round.

I'm a family of four adopted cats, all formerly rescue animals.
Originally from the Tokai region, I lived in Tokyo for 12 years starting from university. Eventually, I was drawn to the wide open skies, crisp air, and the beauty of snowy landscapes, which led me to move to Iwate.
As an avid Airbnb user myself, I find it refreshing and enjoyable to experience local life in each place I visit—something you don’t get from hotels.
I hope guests can enjoy the traditional rural scenery and the changing faces of nature throughout the seasons.
This area offers longer springs and autumns than many other parts of Japan—and above all, the snowy landscapes here are truly stunning.
Whenever snow begins to fall quietly, I find myself stopping whatever I’m doing just to watch.
I fell in love at first sight with this charming, Ghibli-like old house, and spent a full year renovating it through DIY.
Though still a beginner, I also enjoy gardening and small-scale farming from spring through autumn.
The surrounding landscape is incredibly calming, and on days without guests, I often come here just to tend the garden and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
Relax in a peaceful countryside home with 130㎡ of living space and over 1000㎡ of private land.
We grow organic vegetables and herbs; guests may use them during harvest seasons.
The garden offers seasonal plants, insects, and stunning views of snowy mountains and Mt. Iwate.
Inside, enjoy a cozy nook, tea space, small hideout, workspace, Fire Stick TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and a Super Famicom Mini.
