住宿信息
Kawakazesou is a walking distance from Hakone Yumoto station. This area is known for its onsen (hot spring) facilities and is popular among Japanese tourists as well as those visiting from abroad.
Although this facility is not as luxurious as a hotel or ryokan, it makes for a convenient retreat during your trip with all basic amenities and kitchen appliances provided.
The property is located right next to the Haya River, so you don’t have to walk far in order to catch a glimpse of Hakone’s nature.
Check in is very easy since our property uses a smart lock instead of a physical key. The PIN code needed to unlock the front door will be sent to you in a message prior to your check in date, so make sure to check your messages on Booking or email.
Free parking is available in front of the accommodation.
The barbecue works on gas, so no charcoal is needed. Tongue and cutting tools are provided. Meat and vegetables can be bought at Pantry Itabashi, which is about a 10 minute drive.
【Regarding breakfast and dinner】
Breakfast and dinner can only be reserved at the time of your booking - unfortunately this option cannot be added after your booking has been completed. Please make sure to select the correct room and plan.
If your reservation includes meals, ingredients for breakfast and dinner are inside the fridge upon arrival. Breakfast includes three types of bread and one bottle of juice for each guest. For dinner, a variety of vegetables and regional Wagyu (Japanese beef) is provided that can be grilled on the BBQ.
In the unlikely event that we fail to deliver the ingredients due to unforeseen circumstances, the costs for the breakfast and dinner will be reimbursed.
In the case you booked ahead of time and ingredients have significantly increased by the time of your arrival, additional costs may be charged to cover the difference.
周边信息
Hakone Yumoto is less than two hours away from Tokyo, and is the perfect getaway if you want to escape from the busy city to enjoy nature. Hakone has beautiful sights all year round, so you can enjoy the scenery regardless of the seasons. In addition to its many hot spring facilities, there are many other tourist activities such as museums, an outdoor adventure park, and many other activities for the whole family to enjoy.
There is a shopping street near Hakone Yumoto station which is also popular among tourists thanks to its selection of souvenirs and street food. Especially the freshly baked manju (steamed buns with sweet filling such as custard or red bean paste) are a famous local treat. Also don't miss the opportunity to try out some fresh tofu or yuba (tofu skin). Most tofu shops are run by families who have been in the business for decades and make the tofu by hand, using water directly from the area.
Each January, traditional festivals and activities are held at Hakone station. The area is most lively during this time of the year, so if you wish to visit during winter please make your reservation ahead of time.
